Learning German Online with Deutschkids
Deutschkids was founded in 2021 with the goal of offering engaging German lessons for children. After several years of experience as a German as a foreign language teacher, I decided to offer online German lessons for children around the world. My courses provide a gentle introduction to the German language, especially for beginners with no prior knowledge. As a native speaker, I also offer one-on-one sessions for children of all levels.

Hi!
I’m Julia, a passionate native German teacher and the founder of Deutschkids. Since 2018, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching German to learners of all ages. My teaching journey has taken me across the globe – from China, where I taught German in 2019, to Peru, where I spent a year sharing the German language with students.

Currently, I offer online German courses and private lessons tailored specifically for children aged 4 to 12. I hold a university degree in teaching German as a foreign and second language from the University of Jena and the Goethe Institute, with a special focus on children’s language acquisition.
